We moved into a brand new facility in 2017. The practicum portion of the training is held in our state-of-the-art clinic that draws on a broad client base. You will have ample opportunity to treat clients in a real clinic under the supervision of professional instructors. Instructors
Our instructors are leading professionals and include highly experienced and qualified colon therapists, registered massage therapists, Aquanet technicians successful clinic owners. They have extensive professional experience and have amassed over 80 years of combined experience, giving you access to invaluable knowledge and insight.
Tinesja Vanel
Colon Therapy Instructor, I-ACT Certified
Tinesja holds a degree in Psychology from her home country Switzerland. In the early 1970’s she arrived in Canada and over the years continuously expanded her education and knowledge in Psychology, Diet and Natural Health Approaches by attending numerous certification courses in APN (Applied Psycho Neuro Biology), ART (Autonomic Response Testing) at the American Academy of Neural Therapy in Seattle, USA. She is also certified in all three levels of the “Touch for Health” program by the New Method Kinesiology Centre in Vancouver, Canada.Her focus was and is extensively on various forms of detoxification methods. Seventeen years ago she studied Colon Hydrotherapy and became a certified Colon Therapist. Since then she has operated Prime Vitality, a busy Colon Hydrotherapy and Detoxification Clinic and Education Center in North Vancouver, Canada.
In 2003 she became an I-ACT certified instructor for Colon Hydrotherapy. At the same time she wrote the NBCHT exam (National Board of Colon Hydro-Therapy), acquiring the highest qualifications in her profession. Following that, Tinesja became the director of the certification program for Colon Therapists at ICTTI. She is passionate to share her experience and gathered knowledge in this field with her students.
Elena Kazakova
Colon Therapist, I-ACT Certified
Elena Kazakova, is an I-ACT Certified Colon Hydrotherapist as well as the owner and director of Arnica Clinic.She holds a Master of Arts and a Civil Defence Nurses’ Diploma from Nizhny Novgorod State University, Russia. Being a third generation from an all doctors’ family, she has always been passionate about the natural ways of healing. Her university research work was focused on anthropology, folklore and folk medicine. Elena strongly believes in the healing powers hidden inside every human being and every ones’ ability to take control of ones’ own health. Elena believes that becoming healthy and staying healthy is not only a way of life but, it is a journey where searching for truth and making choices becomes ultimately the true way to that healthy life. Elena and her associates at Arnica Clinic will help and support your personal journey to a healthy life.
Pascal Vogel
Business Development & Aquanet Device Technician
Pascal holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University. He has worked in business development, sales, technical support, and quality assurance at Prime Pacific Health Innovations for the past 10 years.He brings a wealth of knowledge in colon hydrotherapy device maintenance and business management and development.
Sofia Reis
Colon Therapist, I-ACT Certified
Sofia is a Certified Colon Hydrotherapist by I-Act (International association for Colon Hydrotherapist) . She worked for seven years at Integrated Health Clinic in Fort Langley with an accomplished team of naturopathic oncologists, naturopathic physicians, medical doctors, chiropractors, therapists, clinical counsellors, and lab technicians. In 2011, Sofia decided to start her own colonics practice and designs individualized body and/or colon cleanses. In addition, she maintains a practice at Abbotsford-Fraser Valley Colonics and works in partnership with her many referring naturopathic doctors.Sofia practices natural preparation for colonoscopy and was invited to Brazil to teach nurses at a colon and rectal surgery clinic how to do colon hydrotherapy for patients undergoing a colonoscopy or colon and/or surgery. Also, she provided one on one and group training to doctors and nurses in Panama, Philippines, Vietnam and Trinidad.
Sofia is a Certified Matrix Reimprint Practitioner, which is effective for the treatment of emotional or physical issues and can also be used to manifest your goals and dreams. Matrix Reimprinting uses the Traditional Chinese Medicine meridian system that has been used in acupuncture for thousands of years. Furthermore, Sofia is a certified Ayurveda nurse and a Shiatsu practitioner. She is part way through her training to become an Advanced EFT practitioner and is certified by the AAMET.
Natascha Vogel
Registered Massage Therapist
Natascha is a graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and recipient of one of the 2018 Student Case Study Awards granted by the Registered Massage Therapists of British Columbia for her work entitled “Massage Therapy in the Treatment of Temporomandibular Dysfunction: A Case Report”.
Her previous background includes an undergraduate degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from York University, UK and conference organisation at a not-for-profit in Lausanne, Switzerland.
It was a desire for understanding more about the human body and for helping people find lasting relief from pain, helping to enable people’s bodies to heal, and helping people find a state of well-being that motivated Natascha to change her path to Registered Massage Therapy.
Natascha is trained to provide treatment designed to help alleviate symptoms and encourage the healing process for a wide variety of conditions including repetitive strain injuries; sprains and strains; temporomandibular dysfunction (TMJ/TMD); systemic conditions such as asthma; carpal tunnel syndrome; whiplash; and many more.
She encourages her patients to play an active role in their treatment and healing in order to achieve optimal results. She enjoys teaching, stretching and strengthening exercises and helping patients to find ways to implement therapeutic exercise into their day to day lives.
