ColonHydrotherapy / Therapist Training - Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the course cost?

Please contact Natascha at natascha@colonhydrotherapyschool.com for current tuition.

How many students are in a class?
Class size is between 1 and 4 students per class.

Are there exams?
Yes, there is an exam on the practical clinical application of colon hydrotherapy at the end of the course and you will have to deliver a quality presentation on the anatomy and physiology of the digestive tract.

Will I receive a Certificate?
Once you have passed your practical exam and given a quality presentation, you will be issued a Certificate of Completion indicating that you have passed the requirements to operate a closed system colon hydrotherapy unit.  Given that you have a sufficient medical background, you will also have the option of writing the I-ACT exam at the end of the 4 day training course.

What happens if I do not pass the exams?
This happens very rarely.  Were it to happen, then on the last day of the course you would be given a chance to re-do the practical exam after having had the chance to review the material with your instructors. You won't have a chance to re-do the I-ACT exam right away - this exam is sent directly to I-ACT for assessment and it generally takes 2 weeks for I-ACT's announcement whether you passed.

Will I be receiving and /or giving Colonics?
Yes, the students will be giving colonics to outside clients and normally also receive treatment(s) during the course.  Please let us know ahead of time if you would rather not receive a treatment.  Plenty of practical training is an integral part of the program.

I come from another country.  Do I need to bring Canadian cash?
This depends on your length of stay before or after the training.  Generally speaking, a small amount of Canadian funds is advised for small purchases such as food and local travel expenses.

What kind of certification will I receive?
Upon passing the practical exam and delivering a quality 15-minute presentation at the end of the 4-day course, you will receive a certificate stating that you have successfully completed your training in colon hydrotherapy at Prime Vitality School of Colon Hydrotherapy.  The training will prepare you to start offering colon hydrotherapy as a treatment in your clinic, center or hospital.
If you are licensed MD, ND, Dr. of TCM, RN, or DO you will additionally be eligible to write the I-ACT exam and pursuing I-ACT level 1 certification.  This can be done on the last day of the course.
If you are not a licensed MD, ND, Dr. of TCM, RN, or DO you will be able to pursue I-ACT certification after one year of giving colon hydrotherapy treatments and upon providing proof that you have given at least 100 treatments. Upon completing the one year of practice, you will need to either come back to Prime Vitality School, or alternatively go to any I-ACT school to complete an 8-hour course and write the I-ACT level 1 exam.
